Saw.an almost.candidate.for the Daily Fail.

I was getting ready to head out this morning from the TA in Elkton MD. It was around 3am and there was a truck sitting a little down to my left in the driving lanes stopped. It was all lit up so I just thought maybe he was waiting for someone to pull out so he could park. I got my schtuff together and started to pull forward and that is when I saw why he was really sitting there. He had all but lost the trailer making a left turn. Looked like he must have Hi Hooked it. The left front corner of the trailed was resting on the rear right corner of the tractor. It was dark so I can' t be certain but it looked like the trailer may have hit a parked truck. As I was going around the shop to get to the exit I saw an MD State Trooper slowly driving through the parking lot. Could have been a routine patrol or could have been in response to an accident call, not sure.

Almost as bad as so many of the secondary highways in Texas!

 

I swear I should have bought a quart of Milk and taken it with me... I'd have some butter now.

 

When I was leaving Hunts Point yesterday, I seen an accident happen right in front of me...

Light was green my direction, motorcycle comes up in the lane on my right side through an intersection where a car decides to run a red light and make a left in front me and the motorcycle. Rider goes down, car drives off. Out of no where, from behind me, a cop comes flying by with his lights on, presuming after the car that just ran the light. Rider was wearing gear and appeared to be okay but stuff like that happens so soo fast!

Resetting at the Flyin Hook in Albuqrque......quite entertaining to watch the goings on here lmao

 

That place gets very interesting. I always went just west to the route 66 casino... better food, something to do while killing time, watch the people loose money...and I was never propositioned there.

 

I second that... I always stay there when spending the night in Albuquerque ... ANd I have never been propositioned there either!!!

 

Tonight however I am spending in a motel... Truck is in the shop, multiple issues, hopefully it's going again tomorrow.

 

I guess they aren't kidding about sending that 36 lol
