Sitting in Amarillo on the way to Cheyenne. Nasty weather, wind dust and rain. Hope it settles down for tomorrow.

Well I pulled into Dallas coming up from Waco
The old truck was beat up and she didn't have far to go
They said wait and you'll get a new ride
Now I'm moving all my stuff in side
8 Days on the yard and I'm gonna make it off tomorrow!

I was done my clearing on Thursday, was waiting on the shop to finish with my truck and I got a call from Daniel Friday saying if I hung out until Tuesday he had a new Pete for me. So I did. I hope I can get rolling again tomorrow. That will be my 9th day here. In figured I may as well wait, as I had 571,800 miles on the T2000 and they would call me back here sooner or later anyway. Since freight is slow around the holiday it seemed as good a time as any.

When he said new, he meant new. 2014 587 that just came off the assembly line on 5/16.

An update from a former Buzzard...

Things are going well in a new world. Made it home the last three weekends for two days each time. Either super lucky or just live in a perfect area. Last week was ~$800 net and week before was ~$950 net. Lottsa work, long days, but lottsa green to go with it...

Let me interrupt this roast for some news I just heard from an undisclosed source.....
    Jonathan is returning to Produce!
    Yeaa!
    Eddie Gibson is back. Yea!
(that one didn't last long, now did it!)
We now return you to the previously active roast.

He broke bread at the El-Al Subway, a 6 inch spicy cow tongue and a 12 inch Removed (double meat). Soon after he suffered much pain and anguish with the Big D of a thousand flaming knives.
