I think it has to do with a number of factors, how hard you run, being in the right place etc... I just got my pay analysis for February and I had 12820 paid miles... 3205 a week average. This is the slow time so I attribute a lot of that to right place right time, but running hard put me there too.
Take the good with the bad and it all averages out. I am.on the company side too.

Been following all the posts here. Some of the most informative & detailed of any thread. Accepted to Central Ref, Prime & seriously reviewing Stevens. Very thorough in my research & detailed. New to Pro Trucking, not to business. The others offer stronger CPM, decent equipment, Realized CPM only gd as miles dispatched. 28 month commitment a bit long, but I do get a positive impression, confidence in the people who I've spoken with. You mentioned expect in the 2200 miles to start...providing I prove myself will miles advance as recruiter swears it will. They are emphatic of 2800-3000 mpw. I tend to be conservative in my expectations. Do see upside, concerned about low cpm is miles don't show up.
Your input appreciated. Asking because all companies change with the flow. Checking what to expect now & near future. Not what happened a yr ago.
Want to start end of April at one of these companies. Thx. -
I haven't talked to the recruiters at any company but know that their job is to highlight the positives and downplay the negatives....just wanted to start out with saying thanks for the invaluable information.
I've heard that the Alliance program is not your ordinary leave program.
What has your experience been like being in the Alliance program?
How much experience did you have before you entered?
What are the pro's & cons of the Alliance program?
Thanks,

No its not your everyday Lease program. the main thing is that it is NOT a Lease Purchase program. Its a straight lease, designed for you to release and stay in a newer truck that is under warranty. They do have a seperate Purchase program on their used trucks.
I have done very well and others have as well. But there are just as many that do very badly. It is a risk and you have to understand controlling costs and not relying on others to run your business for you.
You have to be solo for 2 months and meet certain expectations those 2 months in order to qualify to lease.
Pros, more control, the opportunity to run your business efficiently thereby making more money. More freedom.
Cons, Risk. Expenses dont stop when your stopped or on hometime. More work. You have to think about what your doing and not just drive.Emulsified Thanks this. -
They have a way of evening out. Finishing a two day 900 miler now, will see what is next. -
Thx much. So how satisfied are you now? Did the real deal live up to recruiter pitch? Really appreciate insights. Big career move. Working to find best fit for me & co. Trying to minimize the thorns. Know there will be some!

Tats, one thing to keep in mind, you will determine a lot of your success. How hard you run, on time deliveries etc. It also helps to work the phone. I just came off home time Monday and when I called in I was told there was no freight leaving the mid atlantic that day. I said alright, but I am here with a fresh 70 well rested and ready to go if something shakes loose... an hour later had this load to Atlanta. I have to go get a service done on the truck when I am empty, but I will be working the phone again.when that is done.
