I prefer miles over the money...can have high pay rate and no miles =no money so I want miles all I can handle...but I never see any Stevens transport trucks in my area (southern ga)

Does Stevens get to the DelMarVa penninsula much? I've seen some trucks running down US 50.

They have a Perdue Dedicated account, and there are a number of places there on Delmarva. Accomac VA, Georgetown DE, Milford DE come to mind immediately.

I Live on 301 in DE and was always able to get home OK.

Stevens won't hire anyone with gaps in work history.

The gaps in work history is not just a Stevens issue. They require a 10 year work history for DOT but only the last 3 or so are verified I think. As for gaps they are fine if they can be justified. IE I was in school or unemployed. But if just I was touring the US to checkout life, that makes it hard to verify for DOT compliance. Heartland Express and Central Refrigerated are/were the same way.

I was in truck school and the gaps I put unemployed seeking work. Still wouldn't hire me.
