Stevens Transport

One thing I can say for certain is that when people start talking about what they make/have made...they are are almost always FOS.
But anyway...in my experience, as a driver who wanted to run and never declined anything or talked back to anyone...I was starved out of Stevens. I was very disappointed too, because I am not the type who likes to jump around. I was one of a group of eight who went to Steven's together, we all have very similar stories and are all looking for better. In talking to many others, the same situation seems to be very common. If you had a good experience, then I am happy for you, but the majority aren't so.

 

I've considered stevens and few others (werner/swift/knight/cr/may) when I got my cdl and was approved for all of them

But saw a bunch of bad things with most of them, stevens - I forgot what I didn't like about them but one thing was the recruiter at the "recruiting event" seemed like a total ahole and a loser... so that was that. Glad I went with Schneider, even though I'm about to leave them, I will always recommend the company for all the students...

16 cents plus 10 cents per diem. No receipt for load locks no reimbursement. You are charged for the two load locks plus the meat lock, a camera if you take one, the pulp thermometer and lumper fees that are reimbursed with proper receipts.

Bunch of guys did NOT pay attention.

That is why he did NOT get paid... stevens does NOT fax receipts, they must be transfloed with the trips...

Just pointing out the misleading statement in your original post.

If a person listens in orientation, and to their trainers, they would know all of this.. and would NEVER hold onto receipts to have their wife fax them later.

I have had stevens miss some things on payroll, and they were corrected on the next settlement, after I brought it to their attention.
