Kmac you are right, no one needs to be smoking something like that and driving, nor drinking and driving; the risk is too great for an accident. There are those though who are stupid though and think they will never be found out, even an occasional use may be found out in the most unexpected ways ask my son in-law who got sick after a Christmas party a few years ago and ended up in the hospital where they did a drug test, okay they found out he had smoked and he ended up canned, stupid, stupid, stupid. When will these idiots grow up.

Yes it is illegal, would never use it myself, have no need to and don't see why anyone else much less a driver would want to try and use it and get away with it.
What the post was about was the fact that this driver stated he smoked cigarettes and had been tested every month for 5 mo that he had been there. If you are just smoking a regular old cigarette they should not be testing this often I don't think, it makes it look like they are discriminating against anyone smoking a cigarette in this case. If this person had been smoking illicit drugs, they would have fired him. -

Ok... before people get carried away... I am the one that has been tested 5 times in 5 months. It is not because I smoke, in fact I do not smoke... I do however drive for Stevens and simply pointing out to the OP that if he is smoking (canabis, pot, hash, blunts, spliffs, whatever name you want to call it), he should look elsewhere for employment.
My being tested so often has to do with the luck of the draw random testing, and orientation testing etc.
