I'm in Boise at the moment getting unloaded. Hopefully they will be done before 0400, at which time my 14 is up and I turn into a pumpkin for 4 hours.

I've been busy packing and moving. I should be all done with that by tomorrow. I leave by car on Monday for California to drop off my labrador retriever with my mom while I get started in this crazy industry. Believe it or not, I'm still not sure where I will end up. Stevens is still very much a possibility. So is TMC and Prime, although Prime is still making me jump through a zillion hoops getting very specific information on my medical releases. I've already provided med releases to them twice, but they are very specific about what they want, and my docs apparently didn't do them like they want to see. So I'm still waiting to hear back from Prime. I've fulfilled all of the requirements for Stevens, I just haven't reapplied with them....was waiting to hear back from Prime and a few others. Going to school in California is also a viable option. It would be the only way I could get into TMC obviously, since they have no CDL training in-house.

I will be around much more after I get to California and figure out what I'm doing. Best of luck to all of you still out there looking for a place to land, and to those who have already landed and are OTR!

Well how the hell u guys been. Ive been really busy, finally i can get on here and say hey to u guys. Well headn west on 80 again, im outside north platte, nb. Its like we just cant get away from the west lol. O well at least ill know 80 lol. We got to aspers and got loaded with snapple, our pick up date wasnt until the next day so me and my trainer went into gettysburg, pa. Man that was cool as hell. We had a good time. I think i got one of the best trainers at stevens, but its strange hes a finashing trainer, but he chose me for my first 5wks. Were tryn to get training to let him be my finish trainer too. Hes got the pull to do it trust me lol. But anyway, our load is goin to oregon, but we got delayed in pa wen we had to repower a guy in grantsvill, md. We took his load to philly. He sat on our load and we got our load back. Now we have to repower a guy in wy and take his load to wisconsin. I told my trainer are we goin to be able to finish a run lol. But i got all my requierments done, got bout 8 mountains, bumped two docks in ne. Bumped one in nw, even tho doesnt matter lol. Got 7,200 miles as of today with little over 2wks to go. So im pretty much all finished already lol. Well guys keep in touch. Wish yall the best, keep ur head up boog ur be there man.

chromewheelz and The Challenger Thank this.
  8. I'm starting Truckin School in November and thinking abour taking a job with Stevens Transport. So far, I'm encourage by what I have read about Stevens compared to others. I like the sound of Stevens being a strict on saftey. I have always heard that some truckin companies try and get you to break the rules as far as time behind the wheel goes. I've never been in a big rig! I can't wait. It's going to be a blast!

I had posted a while back and it got diverted to a moderator, then never showed up. I'm sitting at the yard in Dallas at the moment waiting for mechanical clearance before I can get a load out.
