anutha-new-driver that insructor being a ### is good training for you. You are going to run into alot of shippers and recievers like that. Remember focus on your goal to make money and it is easy to put those negative attitudes aside

Kinda, payment went up by $50 per week for the truck, and $50 for the APU. This lease still ends in july 2010. Then I have the option of keeping the same truck, with reduced payments, and a resign bonus. Will see what the economy looks like then.

i just upgraded to a new 660 also, and i must say i love it. the brake does get some getting used to. if you have a 35k truck, im sure youve got a cummings engine. your gonna see a great improvement in mpgs and more power for going up hills (they cant derate the engine due to warranty issues).

Fozzy are you still getting the miles and making decent money? Have you had any problems with the dispatchers? I'm due to go to dallas for orientation on Saturday then out with a trainer by Wednesday or Thursday. I seen a post here that said a guy had to wait 14 days to get a trainer do you get paid if your waiting at the motel for a trainer or do you have to fend for yourself

I'm doing pretty good. Keep in mind the guy who said he waited was talking about a while ago. Once you are waiting to be dispatched to a trainer you get paid, but you will NOT be sitting at a hotel. You will sit at the yard, with all your luggage, all day every day and 8-1 on Saturday until you go out. But Randell gets you out, that's what he does. I never sat more than a part of a day.
