Have another question for you....The laundry machines, are they free at the terminal/drop yards? If not what form of money do they take and how much? Thank you very much for all the info!
-
I think you need to be on the job for at least 6 months plus have gone through a winter before you can train to become a trainer. Laundry machines at the hotel take quarters, the ones at the Laredo yard are free. Noy sure about the driver's lounge as you are not allowed in there until you are a driver. One of the first things they told us was to stay out of there. I do not know if any other drop yards have any facilities at all as I haven't been there.

Is the pre-trip test a physical inspection or done as a written exam?
-
At DPS it is a written, you need to know your airbrake tests completely as well. When you go to OR2 after the first training you have to pretrip for thr red shirts. Here is a hint, make sure you get very dirty.

Thanks for the heads up!

Anybody work for these guys right now,if so what are they like pay wise mileage wise?
They seem to have an excellent training program but I couldn't find nothing about their pay. -
it is on their web site, they start at .26 with 4 raises the first year.
-
where did fozzybear stevens post go?
-
Did I rear your post right fozzybear.
You can not go into the drivers lounge because you are still training?
If true I would be telling them TO PACK SAND..
You work for that company and they pay you correct?
Then you should be entitled to use the drivers lounge.
Please correct me if I read that wrong.
