An employer may have elements within its drug and alcohol policy that go above and beyond what is required from FTA/DOT as long as those elements do not thwart the FTA regulations <<,did you tell your recruiter you were on this medication man,and im not telling you too release your information,.but if someone else in this forum is taking the same one,would'nt you have liked too have known beforehand,im just saying,no one knows who you are man,and if they do,im sure there not going too pick you apart.

 

i agree hunter, im not taken crap so i think ill be ok i hope, i have a clean medical history and dont take any type of meds. i have started to take a asprin everday just to help out the bp. i took it today it was 128/80. i guess thats good enough to pass. plus i took it at walmart when i was walkn around and not relaxed. hunter im supposed to be leavn sat morning, but today they were questioning a 5month gap in my employment history. my recruiter told me to get three refrence letters from non family members, so i did and faxed them too her. ive prolly called her 10 times today lol. she said they would call the ppl and verify from them my gap in work history. she said she thinks ill be ok, i hope so been on umemployment for 9months ready to work haha. well keep in touch all.

 

i been unemployed since feb 20th,but before that i had a solid work history,2 jobs and the military,im on no meds at all,20/20 vision,decent hearing,but my BP does fluctuate a bit,my wifes a nurse so she has been taking my BP,its AVERAGING about 135/84 i have lost weight im 203 pounds now,but im a heavy smoker,and drink coffee like its going out of style,but my BP is lowest first thing in the morning.

 

yea, i dont smoke and hate coffee, drink nothin but water. im a big boy but athletic. i used to play football. i work out almost everyday and lift weights three times a week. my only concern was my vision. i got glasses last friday, and the doc said she thinks ill pass the vision part no problem, thats my only worries right now.

 

all i had too do was send her a copy of my unemployment letter,who is your recruiter?

 

hunter start taken a baby asprin everyday too, i guess this is suppost to help level out ur bp. i just started taken one today. my bp is good but taken one to just keep it little lower

 

if i remember correctly,your vision has too be 20/30 in each eye,or corrected too that point with glasses or contacts,if you just saw your eye care provider,you should be golden

 

i hope they dont fail me on anything,its a longgggggggggggggg hitchhike back too maine from texas

 

my recruiter is arlinda bailey, i had to send my unemployment to her too, i was dumb when i was younger and been threw some jobs, so i had to give them three jobs in the last 3yrs. i was at one for over a year and was laid off, my latest job. then the other was there six months bc i left there for my latest job. then the other job i was there for about 2yrs. then i had the gap in employment, 5 months back in 07. thats why i had to give the refrences. guess ill find out tomm if im good or not.

 

i dont understand how they can get a "lifetime" motor vehicle report,my state only goes back 10 years period,i know,i tried hell and highwater too get a lifetime report,its impossible
