take your time with Stevens, as there many rules and regs will drive you crazy...as for that terminal in Chicago, forget it, it is only a drop yard, Stevens has only one terminal, and that is Dallas TX.

You will do a physical test, hearing, eyes, blood, piss test, that is it.

not disclosing the record is probably the reason central sent you home, stevens will check your background, so be upfront.

1 week orientation, 5 to 6 weeks out with a trainer, 1 week orientation 2, 3 to 4 weeks with a finish trainer, then either extended team, or solo, so 3 months before the $50 per day paycheck ends.

    good luck

Just looking for a place I could leave my car, as they don't allow you to bring the truck home. What do you mean by "physical test"? The DOT or are you talking about the "work well" test where they make you lift and carry?

Good luck Fozzy and wishing you well. To bad I'm not in OKC at the moment or would off you a place to stay. Good idea with keeping a positive attitude. That can be pretty hard to do out here at times.

Thanks, I actually have a friend that lives in Norman. He used to be my pastor back in California, 10+ years ago. I still haven't decided if I am going interstate or direct. The difference is only about 2 hours. If I go Interstate I can stop at his place If I want to pull an 11 hour day to get there.

You can only take home trucks if you lease, but you have to drop the trailer in an approved yard, otherwise you leave it all in an apporved yard, ie; Kenworth or Pete dealer, thermo king dealer, they have lists of where you can park your truck for hometime

The doctor will see you, look at your eyes, ears, listen to your heart, grab your balls and tell you to cough....and the piss test, that is it.

no physical agility tests or wellness tests

Cool, I passed one at Central but it about killed me. I'm definitely going to be doing some walking on my breaks. Gotta get back in some kind of shape.

I can't even find a list of where they are, let alone addresses. Leaving for Dallas in the morning.
