Go with Stevens at least you’ll get to drive decent equipment. Going to be tough finding anything else living south of I-4.

I started with them back in 2016. If you can do one year there, you will be able to put up with anything. They train the hell out of you. You will have to fight for every last dollar, and you'll have to put up with some inefficiency (as with any mega), but you will LEARN.

I can answer those questions for you:

1- You will be out with your trainer for about 6 weeks. They require 240 hours of driving before you get your own truck. After you finish with your trainer, you are routed back to Dallas to do 3 days in the class room. Kind of like a "finishing school".

2- You will run mostly in the East, Southwest, and Midwest. Rarely will you go up to the PNW or the northern Mountain States. You ARE required to drive through 3 mountain passes with your trainer. They have a list that they will give you. I did my 3 mountains in one week driving in the Southwest.

3- They will reimburse your tuition at the rate of $25 a week.

I worked for them for about 6 months. They have really nice equipment but their driver managers are based in Honduras. So it's a real clown show sometimes. They don't hire newbies either.

Wait....they've gone the route of all the cell phone, credit card companies, etc. and basically made the dispatchers like customer service based overseas? Should be a law....
