    I'm talking about NATS, not Stevens. NATS has been outsourcing to Honduras for years. NATS is a company that tries to be a great company. But the owners are Cuban, and most of the office personnel in Opa Locka are "linguistically challenged". But at least they try to be the best they can be. I'm not bashing them. I remember having to teach several of their drivers how to work the Qualcomm, and even teaching them how to use Trucker Path.

    I live in Port St Lucie and had the same trouble as you did.......I finally wound up going Jet Set with Schneider. I know Lual didn't like his experience but sometimes we got to do what we got to do. They started me out in the Bulk tanker department and I'm getting my experience but you can go dry van etc..... Jet Set is 3 weeks out and one week home which they will fly you back and forth. Of course you can stay out longer if you want. So far I really don't have complaints but ignorance is bliss because I don't have much to compare them too.....lol

    I almost did the jet-set thing with them back when I was starting out. I thought it would be cool to fly in and out of different places.

    @JrzyDave --

    Although Schneider is certainly no picnic--many drivers have found out the hard way that one can certainly do A LOT WORSE than Schneider.

    For what it's worth--I think it's really cool that you basically ignored the naysayers (like myself :p) and seized upon an opportunity when you found it--in order to get things started.

    Suggestion: if your time there with ol' "Big Orange" is leaving you with no complaints--you'd do a lot of other drivers a REALLY BIG FAVOR if you started a separate thread--and posted your experiences BOTH with Schneider "jetset"...and also Schneider's bulk group.

    This Forum could really use some positive feedback (if it's deserved) on Schneider's tanker group. Most of it is NOT a good read.....:( To my knowledge--there's really NO INFO WHATSOEVER here on what their "jetset" is really like (especially over time).
