I know it.does Fmcsa think motor carriers are so law biding they do nothing wrong.heck they're far worse then the drivers but the drivers get penalized for it.meanwhile the company is changing yet another drivers logs.what's the point of elogs when any dept can change it to benefit them.elogs is nothing but a huge money maker for the manufactures and software people.

Did we ever really stop to think maybe just maybe.... Its not really about safety at all
.... I wonder how many drivers actually believe everything they hearSneakerfix and pattyj Thank this. -
Safety
safety stops when the dept goes home.holidays even though many drivers are working safety takes the holidays off.if a driver has a safety or log issue dispatch isn't authorized to do anything wait till in the morning after 8 am and call back what a joke. -
Lol. That was the honest truth!
Stevens does suck as a Company.
It is a good place to get training and maybe six to nine months experience, but nothing else.
But I never had a problem getting my time off if I was going to take it. I got suckered into their Lease scam and after my second time off, I just turn all other chance off. But their Computer dispatch did still route me to NC every six weeks. Had to call them to keep me out.Voodoo Pyg Thanks this. -
Hmm???
There is always a Red Shirt (saftey manager) on duty at nights. I spoke with them often all hours of the night.
Problem here is you're speaking for you Husband and what he only told you or what you heard. You have no personal experience first hand yourself.
Never listen to secondhand information. A spouse will always get it screwed up!Bill Smith and Voodoo Pyg Thank this. -
Who told u I was married?????????? I have never been married.I have been driving since 2002 so ya I have exp. Get your facts straight about me and we'll get along just fine.I would never speak for anyone else.if I did have a boyfriend and he wasn't man enough to speak his peace then he's not man enough for me.I have dealt with safety issues at night where only a skeleton crew is working they always told me call in the morning.Sneakerfix Thanks this.

My apologies, I thought I read where you were saying things based on your Husband experience with Stevens.
Dont get all bent out of shape of that.
Still, whatvyou're saying about Stevens time off and saftey dept hours just isn't true! Unless you live in a out of the way place. In which case, you should have done your research before starting with them. And speaking of which... if it's so bad, why are you still there? If you've left by now, what purpose does it serve to complain about a former Employer? Move on. Let it go. I did. I feel no need to bash a former Employer, unless giving a reference to a past experience. But Stevens also has many good points about them too. Their Saftey, Equipment and Dispatch methods to name a few
Been driving since 2002, why even work for a low wadge training company? Strange! -
Got you confused with Cory, the OP. It happens.
