    It's a training company, drivers have had a CDL for mere weeks, the less they can screw up while on the same stretch of road as me the better.

    I will post a correction, Stevens does have some very good seasoned drivers in their fleet, TLH, Corporal, Emulsified, Smokr etc. But, the majority of the Stevens trucks will have a driver with limited experience behind the wheel.

    When I worked at Stevens, the trucks had no Jakes period. I was told that Steve Aaron took jakes off his trucks because he was tired of hearing them being used in the yard. I have no idea if that's true or not. At any rate what prompted the reversal? Too many accidents on hills?
