You'd probably not be amazed what constitutes "minor damage" to the drivers who seem to not have the skill set to drive a tractor trailer..

I'm going to Roehl. Its pretty much the only choice in my situation.
patsy and Prince Henry Stout Thank this. -
I'm sorry but I have to agree with the millis opinion. They wanted to see the inside of my ####### just to even see if I'd be accepted to their school. Asking for documents after documents. I'd comply and they would say oh but I need to see this and that and this. Funny making me jump through hoops considering I've heard they hire nothing but ex cons and felons lmao

Good luck. I just finished my application a short time ago and am awaiting their reply. They have a facility a few hours away from me. -
I am heading to a new training school however I am so concern if I don't pick the right one. Any suggestions on what is the best CDL school to go to?
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Just a suggestion as this thread is 3 years old. Put in the search bar and you will find several threads on this topic. Unfortunately you will be more confused than you are now as there is so many differing opinions on this topic.

Ok....@HelpMe2022....here's some help.
First....figure out which company (or companies) for which you think that you'd like to drive.
Then....visit their website(s).
See if you can find on said website(s) a list of approved CDL schools from which they accept/llke to hire.
Then....figure out how to get to/into one of those schools.
So basically, even from the "get-go"...you are thus setting yourself up for success--not failure.
Also: many states offer financial assistance for qualified individuals to pay part/all of their tuition, for certain programs.
Here in GA....a private donor contributed to a scholarship, and (partly) because I was unemployed at the time...I qualified for the scholarship.
Thus...to get my CDL...I just had to pay for the gas to/from classes.
If you do your "homework"...in advance, you may well get a CDL for free--or close to it.
In any case--hang in there--success goes to those who "stay the course".
Now...."fast forward" a few years from earlier--I'm doing tanker hazmat duty, hauling fuel--& home daily.
