Where in Nd did you work? I worked in West Texas in 2014-2015 and now I'm otr in a company out of Fargo. Looking into oilfield again since otr pay isn't great. Have tankers but no hazmat

Who in their right mind would work oilfield work for $16 an hour? Let alone drive a truck for that. Local driving jobs start off more.

Depends on the setup and cost of living of the area. If it guaranteed 50hrs and was local to me I'd probably take it. Hauling brine and mud isn't stressful, honestly pretty relaxing running country roads to disposal wells. I only made 15/HR running for Shale Transport out of Stoney TX,home every night, random days off to conserve hours. off 2 full weekends a month, grossed 1000-1100/week, and had a 4 mile commute to work. Liked the job, bottom just fell out of fracing in North Texas.strollinruss Thanks this.
