Hello everybody I am from MO & thinking about attending T-school. Lost my job to Federal budget cuts, was a letter carrier. Thinking a career change to sitting on my backside all day, in all kinds of weather, instead of walking 12 miles a day, in all kinds of weather would be a welcome change. LOL![]()
Still trying to decide

Welcome to the forum kiralee.
Walking like that sure keeps you in shape, I would think that would be a welcome change for me!Mastertech Thanks this. -
Welcome, enjoy and good luck

First Problem I see is you do not understand the amount of work involved. Driving a Truck No matter how much you want to nelieve is more than sitting on your butt and driving.
-
Welcome and good luck on whatever you choose to do. As already mentioned there's more to trucking than meets the eye....

My suggestion is to really look inside yourself, and determine if your passions and desires would lead you to driving a truck. If so, then give it a go. If not, then you'll be wasting your time going to trucking school.

This is a tough job working around the clock, its one you have to love to do to be keep doing it awhile. But until you try you will never know. welcome aboard.
