Will they tell you where its at or just the police? I would love to help thieves find religion. Call a couple bad friends with bad intentions and have an old fashioned fire an brimstone revival.

Fortunatly, I have never had to make that call. I would guess as registered owner of the phone, they would tell you. My guess is law enforcment would get less of a run around.

A tracking app on the phone might work. Not having the phone on an active account might not let the app work. Then some of the burner phones have very cheap plans and it may be worth while to keep it on a service plan. Should be a business expense, so deductable as security device.

This is what I use. I have one in each vehicle I own including this truck.

Say I leave a car in the driveway at home or parked at a store lot. Or parking my truck at the cement plant while on home time. I can set a perimeter that if the vehicle leaves outside of it I get a text message. I can then open up the map and see exactly where it is,.. where its going and how fast its moving. It looks just like google maps. Shows the exact location.

The unit hides easily,. even if they disconnect the battery the built in battery will keep tracking. Put the unit under the dash or anywhere suitable. I put my wifes car inside a parking garage and it still showed exactly where the car was.

I am a firm believer in street justice.

@Hurst, what is the monthly charge from Verizon with this?

Nothing to Verizon. It uses the verizon network to communicate its GPS location to Brickhouse servers I guess.

I paid a $25 activation fee for each car and then $39 month to Brickhouse to have web access to look up each vehicle.

    Edit.

There is a cheaper service through Escort (The radar detector maker) that has a similar device and does the same thing for $14.95 a month. Currently looking into it for our next tracking solution. We used to pay $249a month for 2 trackers when we first started this back in 2005. Then found the Livewire 2 yrs ago. Personal trackers are getting more affordable.
