I also trust Kevin "Kiwi" to give me good diagnostics at Altoona. Known him for a decade and he has always done me right.

I have yet to have a bad experience there at Altoona.
Hell, they even had a guy stay until midnight to replace a turbo under warranty for me. Lasted a week before the CEL light came back on, after F/liner installed a reman one in Id.
I only know Jack, and the young black guy that did my turbo. Well I should say me and the young black guy that did my turbo. I will always go back to a shop that allows a hands on driver to stay there and help etc. also saves us both time IMHO.

I'd start with ECM power wires checked with 55 wt bulb)))) they may look good but... be broken inside insolation. Check fuses in bat. box for corrosion.

it is not all, check engine interface wiring starting with twist connector on firewall (dr. side)

I have an '08 Cascadia with 60 series DD 14 liter. Twice on this last trip while rolling the engine quit. First time was going down a hill at 65 with jake on and the second time 45 mph on level terrain. The first time I wrote down the fault codes and sent them to my fleet sales rep and Monday the Freightliner tech will work on it. Each time, after I have pulled off the road and turned the ignition switch off then back on the faults clear then after 4 or so cycles of the ignition switch, the check engine light goes off. No warning signs when it happens and all gauges give normal readings. Still under warranty with Werner so they have to fix.
