Hold up on the panel dimmer switch while at the same time push in on the little black button you use to switch between hours and miles on the LCD display. Hold both until the beeping stops. This only works with the key on, but engine not running. To stop the buzzing while driving, you have to kill power to the whole cluster by removing both breakers for the instrument cluster. I highly recommend to see why the stop engine light is coming on and also recommend to not drive it.
19jazmin92 and QUALITYTRUCK Thank this. -
Could be a knock sensor. That's what it was on mine. The alarm came and went at random

Im driving a Penski and the *STOP ENGINE* light comes on what could cause this and is it safe to drive 12miles to the next town?

Low oil pressure, low coolant, over temp of coolant or oil. DEF low/empty or aftertreatment problem. Depends what your problem is. If you have low fluids or low oil pressure, high temps, it is not safe to drive, shut it down.

Pull the codes up, then Google the code to see what it is.....
