That's why I have a wife who works for a company, she "pays" for those things for us with her salary, and goes home every night. I "lose money" trucking...

Up north here we got sone of these Amazon loads for $3.93 cpm. I guess When you convert it usd thats $2.77. Howver, most are one offs lacking reloads. Either way, even dead heading 2 hrs for another load paying $1.90 for a reloaded you're still well above $2.20 cpm. To each their own, but if Brokers can get those suckers running $1.60 or $1.40 cpm loads let them be. I'm realizing some don't want to put the effott in in order to operate sufficiently. Most taking those loads maybe in desperation acting on a whim not pricessing their threshold properly.

    so that I’m understanding this-
I am back and forth-ing with you: who is talking about screwing the taxman because you don’t make any profit?

    I saw your “i wrote off 88k”
Are you bragging or complaining? If you make more, you can write off more-

I mean, you want to really get over on the government- come work for me the whole year, I won’t pay you at all: then you won’t have to pay any taxes, and you can write off everything; home, truck, wife, savings, future…..

you do understand that just because a truck is paid off doesn’t mean it costs nothing to run right? There’s plenty of threads here of us with the old iron and running costs

ultimately it’s a business, and while I won’t haul it, if someone can make it work with
Their numbers then that’s really all that matters,

as for the taxes, I agree to a point, I like write offs, but I’d rather have them on tools or other equipment to reinvest in rather than just not making it. But a good accountant should be able to beat 100-120k down to 60-70 rather easy,

course missing 18 weeks In the last 13 months hasn’t really made me worry about write offs too much this year
