image.jpg It's a shame we can't do a job swap , l'll came drive your your truck and you can came down here and drive mine lol. At present we're lucky to have low unemployment around that 5 %, half of them don't want to work and many of the rest won't pass the drug test.
    Going fishing (not trolling).

Oh my friend we CAN do a job swap! I can pass a drug test because I simply don't have time to take drugs (as much as I would love to be on drugs, due to trucking). I also love fishing (presently do not have time for fishing, due to trucking). I also love New Zealand (except for the aggressive maniacal NZ drivers). You can pick up my brand-new ultra-noisy Kenworth in Grande Prairie, Alberta (sorry, 140,000 lbs of trailers attached) and drive till your eyeballs shake out of your head. Your only human contact (electronic dispatch) will be the Filipino Temporary Foreign Workers (who do not speak english, by the way) at the A&W root beer joint in Whitecourt. Home time for your 36 hour reset? Watson Lake, Yukon, home of the signpost forest and expensive peanut butter (and -40).

I will be picking up your truck at Wharariki Beach, where I will be basking in the beachy glow, well away from the obnoxious crackheads of Grande Prairie.

with respect, i am trying to relocate to Canada with my family, but I would be the only one working. I'm pretty sure there are child labor laws up north as there are here in the US; my wife has a University degree in Zoology, but has thus been unable to secure a position utilizing it. The cheaper wages are also here. Some companies start drivers off at 30c a mile or so.

Thanks Magoo68... I don't know how much you know about what's going on down here with the current POTUS, but we are trying to get out before it gets to the point where the borders will be closed for good.

How much you want to bet Mr. Kang will flee the country for religious reasons or otherwise get out of paying the $300,000 judgement.?

He won’t flee. Just close shop and start a new company.

‘Absolutely unbelievable’: Surrey RCMP seek driver who used dolly to prop up a trailer
[IMG]By Jesse FerrerasNational Online Journalist Global News

RCMP are seeking the driver of a truck that dragged a trailer that used a dolly in place of its left wheels on the morning of Nov. 16, 2017.

    Listen
It’s the kind of sight that RCMP Cpl. Scotty Schumann says he’d expect to see in a third world country.

Not at 64th Avenue and 181st Street in Surrey, which is precisely where a trailer spotting a dolly in place of its left wheels was spotted on Thursday morning.
