Straight Dump Newbie

    I think I've seen videos of this. The driver overshoots the driveway and just stops at the end. Tons of gravel just pours out in a big pile, with the boss waving his hands and yelling at the driver. Must be what you're talking about.

    That scenario aint too bad.

    It's when the yelling starts halfway down whoa dam it whoooaaaaa newbie stops dead, pile in bed instantly dumps itself into a back breaking 20 ton pile trying to get into the Missus kitchen and knockign her pies off the window sill. (Don't ask) hospitality tends to freeze over really quick like.

    I certainly did not mean to write that, I thought I just answered his question about whether the PTO needed to be engaged to lower the dump bed. I will go back and see if I got sloppy though :)

    I see now how it could have construed that way, I should have said "you do not need the PTO engaged to lower the bed" in case the quote above was not expanded to give it context :(

    I don't need the PTO engaged to lower my bed. I always dump the bags before lifting. Probably don't always need to but I like the reassurance.
