WRONG!!!!!!!!!
WRONG AGAIN!!!!!!
Once again, the truck I am speaking of is a 2001 W900L Kenworth with a 60" modular sleeper. It had set up for quite a while before I purchased it, and along with the mufflers rusting out, I had to replace the 90* turns under the mufflers, and the top cab mounted support that allows the air ride cab to move up and down while the exhaust stays stationary. All parts that I replaced came from KW, using the VIN, except the mufflers, which I purchased locally. Another unusual thing was that the exhaust stayed very close to the floor, and the 90* turns under the mufflers were routed OVER the frame rails, instead of under like most W900s.
I was told that this truck was one of five purchased new by a brick company in Tulsa, OK., all identical except for the colors.
If anyone wants to check with KW, the last six are 873314.

So your cab and sleeper was separate?
I forgot when they stopped making those, the old original flat top style...? On those the exhaust runs under the cab but above the frame rails. My dad's 88 is like that. -
i use to run a old r model mack wit a E 6 350-r wit straights it was sweet , 10years later i am running a 6nz n i want peace n quiet

You can still get them that way. I think!?!? My 06 extended day cab the exhaust is above the frame mufflers up the side. -

Unless a misprint, there was even a 2011 with a Cat. -
I do know they was gonna stop back in the late 90's but demand for them went thru the roof for some reason. -
mine's an 03 and is like this....muffler upside the cab or was until i straightpiped it....you cab get
mufflers to go in the spool of the straight pipes though but a muffler under the truck isnt possible without
rerouteing the exhaust from turbo back and then my steps are too long and fuel tanks are too far forward
to go with a rod pickett elbow -
He**, I like straights and jakes as much as the next guy, in the right time and place. That's why I save all of my obnoxiousness for my old Bronco, 351M, headers and glass packs. My mechanic told me it scared him when he started it the other day.
It gets compliments all of the time, and it's a great stress reliever at the end of the day!

I removed my exhaust, now I run a weed burner, what will the sound difference be if I make it a 10 in pipe out
