Stranded for almost 3 weeks

The company you work for needs to be reported for what they’ve done to you. That’s just not right and then they want to hang out the dry because you want to get home. Just not right!

 

Once you get home, take time off and put in your notice of leaving you still have to put in a notice of leaving

 

I’da been like “gimme a load to Texas and I’ll be at home till you find something going back to Alaska.”

 

at some point you’d just have to put your foot down and do something. I’d drive it home on my own dime and say okay, it’s in my driveway. Come get it.

can’t really say you abandoned the truck or stole any money from them at that point.

 

Have you tried flying home and murdering everyone in the office ?

Well, he did say his reload down in Brownsville failed and would probably D/H home. Could be in the Canadian wilderness fighting off a Grizzley.

 

I’d always heard getting a load *up* to AK was the easy part. Might have had to deadhead to Seattle to get it but they send a lot of stuff up that way out of there.
