That's good to hear. Hubby would always wash out his Air to Air Cooler and his Radiator once a week when he was on dirt roads or hauling dusty commodities. They will really plug it up and make the truck run hotter. And it would shut down at times that it got too hot.

We went to a 5 core radiator when we replaced it and now the motor runs a lot cooler, even when the radiator needs washing.

    txnewbee and aiwiron Thank this.

Putting in a plug for logging trucks. The road is only as wide as the truck if there is one. I did enjoy it though. Well..... most days anyhow :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I have driven lots of dirt roads but the worst was delivering frac tanks to a drill site in Jersey Mills,PA. It was only about 8 mi of dirt road but it took an hr to drive. I was the first truck up and the frac tank made most of the corners alot wider. 10-26-09_0901.jpg

Husband worked for a feed mill and one of the trucks ended up on a clay road stuck delivering a load of feed, I think he was on his way back out at the time; had to have a tow truck tow him up the hill to get him out. Way back yonder around Selma, AL area.
