What is it with you and Kentuckians? Can’t you buy your bourbon at the liquor store like everybody else? Somebody else has to drink it first? :biggrin_25523:

I think there are plenty of Adults out there that can coexist in a truck with no issues. I stay in hotels when I’m on the road as my car carrier is a day cab. There was a company truck with a big sleeper in the parking lot. I cannot recall the company but I guess they’d rather play it safe than sorry. It was a male trainer and a female trainee and they found a different hotel each night and took turns staying in the hotel.

You're a fool if you're a man and let a female on the truck for training. I dont care how many times I hear the old "a male and female can be professional blah blah." As a male trucker you will be #### canned in 2 seconds with one accusation from an angry female trainee.

Based on what I have seen PLUS many conversations with carrier personal that oversee training most will make these decisions based on patterns. If a female makes a complaint most carriers will remove her from the truck and call the trainer in to discuss the situation. If it happens again it's game over for that driver! On this subject, I know a female trainer that was fired by a company I won't say who, that was sexually harassing her female trainees. After several complaints, this person was both removed as a trainer and eventually fired.

Now a general question. Would anybody care to guess how long a female fresh out of orientation has to wait on a female non-smoker trainer to come available?

See, you're supposed to sleep in different bunks. Wouldn't have been such an issue then.

When companies have closed down and left their drivers stranded TTR members have stepped up to get them home. Sad to see someone trying to scam good hearted people.

    not4hire and SoulScream84 Thank this.
