    we do loads of HHG all the time like this. We'll pick up a loaded container from someone's residence, they loaded it, sealed it, padlocked it, and left. It might be a day later before we can get to it. Unless your carrier is DOT authorized to haul HHG, do not write HHG on your BOL, your carrier could have issues with your operating authority if you get stopped for an inspection (go ahead, ask me how I know this). If we have to write a BOL for these cans, we write it as "one loaded container, said to contain x,xxx lbs of used furniture and personal effects". The only time we haul loads actually marked as HHG is if it originated at a M&S facility loaded and sealed by them using their BOL.

    Yeah,and when they discover whats in it,the boss guy will be no where to be found,trailer not registered to him. Yikes!
