Well, most of the good one's tend to be expensive, but if you want to play with something that's free, try LibreCAD. Open source has some pretty impressive things done. It can be used and have the file saved into I think the files needed to run a plasma cutter table if you have one from Langmuir systems. If you need to get some good reference, check out this guy that does a lot of fab work, that's I've been following as I try to get back into some of the mechanic work with a welder I picked up from HF for my needs. This guy reviewed it and does a lot of stuff without all the fancy tools, but he's learning and has a good way of transferring that knowledge and confidence to others. He goes by the name of Mike Festiva.

Yeah, but when you want them back, it's almost like pulling teeth. I just went through that where I downloaded ALL my stuff from Google Pictures and stored them on my computer harddrive and then transferred them to my sticks. They have streamlined the downloading somewhat now, but a year ago, it was like a nightmare trying to get your own pictures downloaded and then deleted on their site. Finally took the plunge a couple weeks ago and emptied it so I could use Google Drive to put a few large uploads in for download from a link for a programming newsgroup I'm in also.

Was just looking again, and yes, the CAD program would be good for subnmitting your specs to like Merritt, and see what they want for something like that...I checked their site and haven't found anything yet, but that doesn't mean they haven't already done some custom work like that and already have some specs for it to build it. :dontknow:

Okay, this one is a little large, but I think you'll get the idea, this is the only stand up storage box I've found, so far. It's actually a cross body box, but obviously, you can size it a little closer to your specs, but I just wanted to find some other pics to look at, and find other manufacturers. This one is in Gloucester, Ontario, Canada and is Trebor Manufacturing. This is their cross body box that you need to cut in half, and shrink. :)

Buyers makes nice boxes. The trailer boxes are probably just as good. Have a 24 and a 12in step boxes. They hold up good still look almost new 5 years later

By the way, when if you ask them, the measurements you want are going to be 40"(H) X 18"(D) X 18"(W). :) I was having a hell of a time trying to figure out since most of their box sizes are with the big number at the back meaning, wide or deep. :)

If you edit going into an online storage it isn't bad I have about 450 pics stored over about 9 years and my SO's friend who does not edit has 1200 or so and can't find anything.
Mine are date organized and if I think of an approximate date I can find most fairly quickly.
My problem is the 700 or so negatives from my 35mm day from 1973 through to 1998 when I bought my first 640X480 camera that stored on SD cards when a big one was 64mb and you could get 30 or so pics on it
