If I don't proofread close enough before hitting post.
If I bump my post reply before typing or bounce a finger on the reply button I can post a blank reply.

I hear you. We're dinosaurs. :) Hey remember when a modem went 300 baud? Or a floppy disk stopped being floppy in a hard shell?:biggrin_2551::biggrin_255:

Just a thought and my .02, I would try a welding shop/fabricator. Just request stainless door/aluminum or whichever your preference per your application.

What it's going to take I think. I can't find anything close to what I'd like online.

Or zip disks....wow, super storage for my $2500 486 laptop
The zip disks reader was 500 and the disks were 35 each.

    CAXPT Thanks this.

I think I found just the people to build what I'm thinking. Only about 45 minutes away too. Screenshot_20220323-015928_Chrome.jpg

Man..bring back memories. I still have all that stuff in my own little museum, back when I was on the bleeding edge of technology. What a waste of money. :) I wouldn't trade it and the knowledge, but I'd like to get the money back since most of those things, although still usable, have been so superceded capacity wise, it's hard to remember the small amount we could save. I used the Zip Disks for back-ups, but like you said, 486 and so on, we didn't need that much storage...it wasn''t until high resolution was everywhere that the memory requirements went through the roof. The cleaner and clearer the pic, the more room it took. Never ending viscious cycle. :)

5.5 ft high might drag a bit if mounted in front of the dolly leg

I was on their page, too, and I didn't see that. If they're that close then worth a try. If reasonably priced. I'm kind of amazed at the trouble we've had finding something suitable. You'd think people couldn't wait to haul chains only as far as the drop deck neck, instead of having to climb up the step to the headache rack. Great exercise, but rough on the joints. :) One of those boxes on both sides and you can split the weight evenly with chains, binders and walk less since they're on both sides. What an idea that needs pushing. Now if they just stop people from sliding that 5th wheel too far back and cutting too sharply, it would be gold. :biggrin_255::biggrin_2551:

Well, we were talking about trimming to size earlier with my cross body box I found. :)
