Actually it’s not, trailer tie downs are not required to be rated. Tied to rubrails for years without a peep from the DOT.

I’m not recommending it if the manufacturer says not to there’s probably a reason, but if you peeled that sticker off there’s not a thing the DOT can do.spyder7723, stwik and kylefitzy Thank this.

You’re not going to find it because it doesn’t exist.spyder7723 and ReeferOhio Thank this.

I never was a big fan of unnecessary stickers. Infact I just pealed 10 stickers of my new truck. I didn’t think i need to be reminded to “not fuel near an open flame” or “never operate the truck with loose axle nuts”
If that was my trailer there would be at least 4 less stickers on that trailer.spyder7723, LoneCowboy, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this. -
I know exactly what you mean.Tug Toy, kylefitzy and Razororange Thank this.

I saw a swift truck with a sticker for no fuel next to the DEF tank, and no dEF next to the fuel tank. Now that takes a special kind of stupid.
Czar_Zero, Opendeck, Razororange and 2 others Thank this. -
I think you need to reread that regulation. Fmcsa makes no requirements in any anchor points having to have a wll rating. They suggest it, but by no means require anchor points to be rated.
Its about 1/3 of the page down
