Tarpstop is awesome to deal with. I've known Ken and Andy (the owners) since before they started Tarpstop and were working at another local shop. Always great guys with a even greater work ethic. Heck I had the 3rd Fastrak system they built and many other fab projects they did for me. I almost miss spending money at their shop now that I pull a reefer.

Love this argument, I've always used a half twist unless it's under a tarp. I seen the straps vibrating during a turn when I first started with shingles. I've also seen loads going down the road with the straps just flapping away. It's drivers choice for me.

I have personaly seen a load of rectangular pvc pipe have every pipe on the outside edge broken by a flapping strap. I usually would put a twist in if I was hauling something you couldnt really get the straps tight.(Drywall, Foam board) Most of those if I could get ontop of the load I would throw all my straps over, hook them, but leave a little slack. Then get on top and just flip the strap over, it puts the half twist on both sides. I belive in the green book the reg on it says that you cannot have more than one complete twist in a strap.

Gary, IN (I-94 exit 15 north which is really Lake station) and Perrysburgh, OH right outside Toledo. Or you can order them online. I have been told that even with their shipping charge they beat most others prices. I live 30 min away from the one here in Indiana and I always use them. They are cheap and sell good products. I have never used their tarps tho LOL

I've bought a pair of their standard flat smoke tarps, 10'X12' with a row of D-rings 30" from the bottom, listed at $79 each. I had them add a row of D-rings up both sides and across the top, 24" in, for an additional $20 per tarp.
The Gary store is very easy to get too. The Ohio store isn't bad to get too, though.

    NWMAXI Thanks this.
