Anyone use this particular strap winder? Is it worth the price tag? Almost seems like the wheel part would break rather easy? I use the hook to rub rail winder thats like $12 but its been leaving those round holes all over my reflective tape which I would like to get away from...

I use one, it is excellent build quality. The thin plate is made of thin metal and only keeps the strap straight.

I never used one . Always hand rolled ( almost like hand made ) , i just noticed that I won't be saving time because by the time forklift is ready to unload me - everything is rolled and stacked away . Its just me ...but several drivers who worked for me always asked for one
Maybe for you guys its just convenience -
Really? I think if you tried one you might like it.
I couldn't imagine having to roll 10-12 straps up by hand all the time.Aamcotrans, misterG, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
I rolled 14 once - no problem , i always have time ...i dont think it will take more than 10-12min

... especially when you in line for unloading ...

Looks like an overpriced cumbersome POS to me. I have the one below and it's by far the best style I've ever used.
Kinedyne Premium Strap Winder - KinedyneGod prefers Diesels, misterG and Kyle G. Thank this. -
I use the same one, not the best but it takes up almost zero space.
that big one looks nice, not nice enough to give up all the storage room it would take up. -
It ain't that bad...
Plus it strengthens your hands so not even your wife can pry out your beer when you fall asleep in front of the TV...
DieselDisciple, D.Tibbitt, magoo68 and 4 others Thank this. -
I love it. It's light, takes up like zero room and it's fast. For $20 and commonly found at TAs it's extremely tough to beat.kylefitzy Thanks this.
