This was a 6 hour job. 2500 miles later showed up without 1 rip or tear in the tarp. Shipper offered to buy me new ones if even 1 hole was in it by delivery. The guy loading next to me delivered to the same place and showed up with only half a tarp. The other half was somewhere onthe side of the interstate after it ripped apart. Took him 1 hour to tarp vs my 5-6. Shipper still covered his cost of tarps. But said he was banned from loading there ever again as the freight was covered in road salt. The exact reason why they wanted it tarped. The right way is the only way to do it in my opinion no matter how long it takes in the end.
