Straps too tight?

    Seen a trainee tightening his strap on a shingle load yesterday down in Georgia. Tapped him on the shoulder and pointed up to the top and told him to ease up, you'll be cutting into them. He was just trying to hard!

    Tightness is a flexible thing. . . Shingle and Sheetrock, Bar stock and I-Beams, everyone just needs some experience to learn it.

    Hi BROKEN, that spiraling is bad, that chain will probably loosen up. When I hauled heavy equipment, I made sure all the links lined up, as by nature of a chains strength, it can't have any turns in it, kind of like a motorcycle chain.
