Streamlight of course. My brothers fire dept all carry Streamlights, as well as a buddy of mines fire dept. Good enough for that kinda service, good enough for me.

I have a big LiteBox, and then I have several of the ProPolymer 4AA's. I absolutely love the 4AA series stuff, my newest 4AA has the 7 LED's in it, had it for dang near a year and its still on its first set of batteries.

I've had my Maglight 3D cell for bout 15 years and always thought it was the best. Till bout a week ago when back up at a stall at a truckstop and when I did my walk around I found the Streamlight Stinger LED 3C cell. First I thought someone threw it away and it was junk. I was in a hurry so I just threw it in the cab and left. After awhile I was driving down the rode I pick it up and turn it on and WOW, it just about blinded me. Never new such a small light could be so bright. Anyways, I realize it just more than your typical flashlight. Now Im hook on it. I had to order a Charger holder and DC plug, $35.00 with shipping. No more buying batteries except for my Maglight.

I have the streamlight. As a mechanic I use it daily. The #### thing is tough. I really like the fact that the charger is AC/DC capable by changing the cords. I also have a Streamlight that uses 2 D-cells and has 8 leds in it. Nice but its big heavy and I have to change the batteries in it about once a week if I use it lots.

Some engineers left Maglight and started Streamlight.

Here are two very similar(700 lumens) on high power. These cost more than your average light, but remember, these are atleast 1" smaller than a AA maglite! Runtime on high should be around 1 hour. Medium mode(approx. 300 lumens) should be around 3-4 hours. Both use re-chargeable li-on batteries. I wasn't putting down any streamlight. They are great lights. Just thought I'd turn some people onto high performance lights. They are quite neat, high quality, and very usable.
