I agree with this, as well. An old timer told me a long time ago, like getting stopped by LEO or being pulled in at a scale. Let the cop do the talking, and keep your mouth shut. I've seen driver's get in more trouble by trying to talk their way out of it.

Yeah, there's so much OVER REGULATION, as I like to say, in this industry. Just leave us alone, let us drive. We can regulate ourselves. Now don't get me wrong, medical issues are something to be concerned if driving CMV's. However, having stents inserted to keep arteries clear is basically solving this issue. Then, having physicals every 2 years confirms the heart is in good shape. If a stent isn't working, it will show during the physical. It's kinda' like high BP. You get meds to lower it to normal readings, so you now have "normal BP" as long as you take your meds, right ? Then why admit taking the meds to a Doc (which don't show up on the pee-pee test) and you end up with a 1 year medical card. If you keep quiet, you get your 2 year card. We've all heard of so called healthy people dying un-expectantly (remember Jim Fixx the runner?) Sometimes too much info to the wrong people ends up hurting you. People this is just my opinion on the matter. YOU need to make your own decisions. Good luck.

Hi Allow Me, I agree, except the BP part. I think if you have high BP and take meds to bring it to normal, that should be on record, in case something happens, and you are unable to speak, it's on record , you are on BP meds, so some mistake isn't made that could cost you your life.

Ok I have to ask what is the nuclear stress test?

I did tell the doc when doing my med card check up. He only asked how long I had been on them to make sure I had it under control and not switching meds to find what works for me.
I don't think it was the BP/meds that put me on the 1 year list but an eye issue that I had to get a waiver for. I will ask at my next check up and it will be with a different doctor also.

They put a radioactive dye in your blood stream, it shows up on a screen. Identifies any sort of blood flow problems. I actually looked at mine and you could easily see the blockages.
At least I think the chemical they use is radioactive. -
