Sorry, but this may sound harsh, But stay away of trucking, Superbowl sunday had nothing to do with the choise you made, there is no room for drug users in this industry, we have enough regulation to deal with

Sorry for your ... well ... don't get any sympathy from me over blowing the test BUT ....
I have a reason to post something other than my comment above.
IF I look at this right, you are claiming that they lost the urine sample which IF they lose a sample and even if they find it, that sample should be deemed invalid. The chain of custody is broken when it is lost no matter what and the sample can't be confirmed that it hasn't been tampered with so it can't be used.
I would not ask for but demand an explanation from the lab in writing and get legal advice about how to correct this or possible retake the test.
Now to make this clear I am not condoning your drug use and would rather see you not drive because of the dumb thing you did - ignore what you have been told a bunch of times - but this is one of these things that just gets me really mad when things like this happen no matter who it is. -
different strokes for different folks, I suppose...
I've been in CDL school for the past 4 weeks and won't even drive 1mph over the posted speed limit in my personal vehicle because a ticket could hurt my chances at getting a job. I suspect you and I use a vastly different priority systems...
Best of luck to you -
Do they take the hair sample from your head? How long does it have to be for the test?
-
If they lost the sample, how did they test it?
-
That's good you're staying away from your sister because the pot fumes is as bad as smoking it.

Punk kid, you can't do drugs with a CDL. Now if you get past this and find anyone to hire you, drink a quart if Mad Dog 2020 if you want to have a good time. Please take the next day off

Unless you filled out the W-2, I-9, and all the other paperwork, and got PAID by the company, you were NOT "fired". You were simply "not hired". A company can refuse to hire a person for pretty much any reason. Even showing up 30 seconds late for orientation can get someone sent home.
On the application, READ CAREFULLY and answer ONLY what they ask for. They WILL ask if you have ever failed or refused a drug test. Your answer is NO.
If you attended orientation but were NOT paid, then you were never HIRED by that company. Therefore, you do NOT have to list them as a former employer. However, I have seen apps where they do ask if I have ever attended orientation at any other companies. For that, you would have to answer "yes".JennB Thanks this. -
