Shot you a pm, hope it helps, also some good suggestion on here that I hadn't thought about, but I'm afraid some of the guys are right, there just isn't much demand for stretchering a Pro Star, the problem with that is that although you may find someone to tackle it, YOU will be paying as THEY learn, just saying,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hello WheelMan,
Did you ever figure out what your doing with your ProStar project?? Someone sent you this: Here you go. Custom Studio Sleepers.. did you ever look into this?? Just curious what the outcome was?? Thanks.. -
This is a reputable volume manufacturer of custom sleepers, very popular in the expedite markets. Don't know if they use a ProStar as a base, but give them a call.

Can you still run with a 53ft trailer on one of those Bolt on sleeper trucks? They're 278in WB.
I was thinking if I become an owner op. to buy a KW T660 and go to the "customkw" guys to have the OEM sleeper redone. I think they do it all in the same frame without needing for a larger WB. But if I can pony up the money and buy a nice Pete 579 from Bolt on sleepers which would be a much nicer option. I would just like to be able to use a 53ft reefer. -
Sure. While i don't know anyone with a bolton brand sleeper, i know quite a few with ari sleepers. Some states have 75 ft over all length regs, but you can buy an annual permit for them. I've got it I'm a few states that i run in cause I'm over 75 feet with a 53.
Funny enough i don't need the permit when pulling a set of doubles even tho I'm much longer than with a single 53.KANSAS TRANSIT and CorsairFanboy Thank this. -
Thank you for your reply! I can now have something to work towards to. I really like those Bolton sleeper trucks. From the prices I've seen they're about 30-50k more than a brand new W900 so for what you get it doesn't seem that bad.
Worse case scenario I'd get a T660 and have a set up from the CustomKW guys. I just don't like all the wood they use.. Makes it seem so Outdated like an old RV lol.. I really like the brown/black wood that BOLTON uses which gives it a more modern look.
