I was directed to this site after a post I made on Reddit.
I live in Washington state, and I recently graduated with my Class A (doubles/triples and tanker) about 3 weeks ago. I have applied to multiple mega carriers and numerous local businesses, but the issue I keep running into is I don’t have a minimum of 6 months of experience. I’ve applied to places like Roehl, US Express, Knight, UNFI, and Old Dominion, just to name a few. Altogether, I’ve applied to over 30 places and made probably twice as many calls trying to get a follow up on the ones I haven’t heard back from a recruiter yet.
All the companies I’ve heard about that hire recent graduates still ask for 6 months of experience. Is there anyone here from the WA areas that could maybe point me to some companies that legitimately hire recent graduates?

Just be patient someone will take you , but I know for sure “Chinatown “will be honored to help you . The guy is awesome. I’m sure that website you heard from red edit whatever they heard about him. He is a world of knowledge on trucking companies. First off where are you located? That’ll help him a lot.
