Looking to purchase the Stryker 955hpc radio for my 2011 Freightliner Columbia. I know it needs the mod to be converted to 11 meter which I can do but do I need to run the power source for this radio straight from the batteries or can I use the provided power output that is used for a regular cb that came with the truck. Thanks

I would just test fit radio up there to see if your ok with it 1st...
Consider running your fresh coax to and power/gnd..Wouldnt use factory supplied..Its most likely not gonna give it a good constant power it needs....
If you do use a new power gnd wire,go 10ga..
