The 3 button only works when buttons are pushed and powered down...Then on again a cpl seconds later...
Yup I did it that way many times with no luck. After lunch I tried it again and it worked. It's still a mystery
Hhhhmmmm odd....Only option is to email stryker and ask...I would say msg hard drive but he dont give any info for free..
I noticed a similar problem a few days ago. While rolling down the highway I glanced over and the freq counter indicated a 10m frequency I would normally expect to see on the E band. However, the switch was still on D. I flipped it to E, then back to D and all was well. I'm going to keep my eye on it to see if I can detect a pattern
Might be something as stupid as a bad solder or dirt..These sukers like to attract dirt in the volume switch so i dont see why not in other places..
I think I have isolated the problem to the channel selector switch. The problem happened again today and after switching up and down the channels for a second or two, the problem was resolved. Next time I have the hood up I'll see if there is anything to be cleaned in that area
Frozen channel selector happening now. 3-buttons are un-responsive. Love this radio but it has bugs. Thank God I'm frozen on 19
Yeap the ch selector is buggering up..You can try a new stryker updated encoder bht i hear that they are kt much better.. Dont knkw where hard drive gets hjs but he says and shows they take some serious beatin and still work.. Maybe msg him and play nice nice he might sell ya one..Otherwise its back to factory.... So far on my 4 yr old stryker its been perfect all the time..Knock on plastic..
I see in this thread I said I was going to clean up the channel selector but I never got around to it. Maybe tomorrow lol ***edit Stryker sells 'em direct. Encoder (CH Selector Switch) SR-655HPC & SR-955HPC 10 Meter Radios - Strykerradios
Im like that to...The "gettin around to it" usually means that you will do it tomorrow which ends up being next week and finally two months later it gets done..lol
