Hey guys I have an interesting problem, I had my truck at an Amish farm in Lancaster County and hit a bare fence wire run overhead for a power supply with my antennas and it killed my radio. I checked all the fuses and replaced them but no luck. Will a power surge through the antennas ruin your radio or is it repairable?

If it's truly dead one barely used for a good price from my driving days.

Ok, I think I'll get a shot at opening it tonight, I messed around with it this morning and anytime I try to power it on I blow either the inline fuse or the one in my trucks fuse box. I'm using a backup cobra 29 for now.

These days they will use electricity for work. Only basic stuff, power tools, lights, etc. In their home life they still go without.

depends if they are new order or old order...
