There are a few pics of the inside. The electric came in through the antenna. The only thing I have figured out is that when I power the radio on is it'll blow a fuse somewhere. Seems like something is shorting out.

Somebody jacked up your radio regardless of what happened at that Amish farm...
Those coils should not be spread like that. -
I bought it used, they claimed it was putting out 90 watts but I feel that was optimistic.
-
90 watts out of a 70 watt radio? LOL. Some people... but yeah. Clay['s Radio Shop] did mine. I watched him. He didn't touch the coils.
-
10-4, yeah I know so little about radios. You think that the thing is wasted or is there anything salvageable?
-
It's certainly worth repairing.
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
Do your quite confident about clays tune up did you buy the radio some where else or from clay .
-
Was your antenna metal or aluminum?
-
I got some pretty long plastic coated ones with a metal tip and an extendable 6"ish tip. I think they r 1000 watt? They were like 25 bucks a piece, pretty cheap ones. I did notice that the plastic is split open in the same area where it would've hit the wire
-
I'm thinking it is now a parts radio.
