    What are the good positive and negative points about this radio and also for drivers out there who run this radio what's your favourite feature are you a side bander or stick to am . What output are you getting out of your radio are you running standard mic or a noise cancelling mic I was thinking of pairing a 955 hpc with a sra 198 mic opinions please.

    12193624_413804185492623_1122092975418842440_n.jpg I own 2 of that exact radio/mic combo....Zero complaints..Actually i had a minor one but its a commom thing...It seems to loose its volume over time...There is a quick fix..

    The meter was inline but that set up was also in a volvo i ran..I just run the radio in a freightliner crapcadia now..

    Well mark has lotsa videos of the 955..It doesnt sound any different than a new one,so no point in posting how my.radjo sounds..

    I have the 655, same radio just no side band and it's my favorite radio I own. Great receive, the audio is amazing compared to most everything out there IMHO, and it does 100-120 watts PEP and you can still use a regular power cord.

    Looks like 4 FQP13N10 MOSFETS are capable of 15 watts carrier.
    Whoever told you 120 watts PEP either lied to you or didn't have the capability of showing you this.
