I don't really care if some watts are off frequency as long as it sounds good on the other end and it gets out to my satisfaction. I don't own a scope, nor do I care to ever own one. CB is a hobby, if I wanted to crap on everyone I'd become a ham.

To find out what the radio Is really doing you turn the microphone gain all the way to the left until it stops splattering and then when it stops splattering take your measurement and that's what it is.
