^From the way their trucks have been driving around the past few months,they don't look like they're sitting.lol

 

Wow I was looking at them. They seemed pretty decent and a small company.

 

I live in kingsport. Harris Trucking exit 63 on 81, Rogers trucking or transport is in Abingdon, wtc/redline is on 11w between 394 and 81. All I can speak on is Harris but I have rarely talked to a wtc/redline driver that was unhappy.

 

He wants a good job.
What's he gonna do turn down a good job because
They got a 10 speed.
Where do they get these drivers from.

Me,? I'd rather have a 10 speed myself but everybody's different
Atleast he isn't jumping on the first train out of town, finding the right job these days can be tough
.... This is more than getting a job , it's a long term investment , but it's best to have a job at hand while you do the research on prime jobs , but sometimes we make a bad bet on the wrong trucking company and can't afford to work for them while you are looking for the back door

The OTR outfits have a big advantage over the drivers , being 500 miles away from home , the driver is pretty much in the hands of the company and they know it
.... Watch out for worthless OTR trucking companies , sure they all have a good story to tell the driver and are all super friendly at first because they need warm bodies in their equipment in order to stay in business

 

In this day and age you'd be surprised. I prefer a 10- speed myself but each their own.
