Hold up, you just mentioned your Dad and Uncles are O/O and made good money so why would you want to go for a big name company that may have a revolving door? Is there a reason they can't get you on runs or refer you to the smaller companies who will get you that experience that you want?
Do some homework by making a list of serious questions then get in contact with the companies, talk to those that run for them in person, look at their trucks to see if they are in good shape or run hard and put away wet.
Foot work will get you a better idea than surfing the interwebs.

Hey chompi? You haul horses?! -
Your'e not going to make a $1,000 a week dude get that out of your head. The companies who train for the most part have slow trucks. You might make that with the addition of a fuel bonus or if they pay for you going into NYC but you are dreaming wake up and smell the roses.

my dad wants me to work for a big company first to get some experience. other wise they could help me get a place with them. and you can clear out a 1,000$ a week. I know a guy he even showed me his check he worked for 8 months so far and hes been clearing 1,000$ a week. just gotta be smart about it.
