Student driver looking for good company

I am going through training with Arnold. You can read my adventures in the thread " Arnold Orientation" . I chose Arnold because they are going Southeast Regional,2 weeks out and 2 days home, avg 2500/wk, new equipment, great benefits and an excellent training program. 150 behind the wheel hours with many different loads and conditions. In the last month, I have been through9 states, hauling everything from furniture to V8 juice, dog food to the styrofoam trays they put meat on in the grocery store. So far, I am very happy I.chose to start my truck driving career with Arnold. Good luck to you.

 

i guess you people around chattanooga never even bothered to check chattanooga state's commercial driver training. it is far better than anything you think you can learn in 14 days. and it probably costs 3 times less.

 

Training is 6 weeks at. 25 for all miles, then. 31 once on your own. We run the eastern side of the Country. And we are mostly solo carrier. Pm me for more info.

 

What about hiring student drivers who come from the Rockford (Chicago) area. The approved list on the website only has East Coast Schools.

 

As for now the schools on the list are the ones they hire students out of. They are working on adding more schools, and have over the past few weeks. Once one has # months otr they become a can canadite . Best of luck !

 

Thank you so much. I think I better tell him to put me in the Chantooga class. For also have to think about if my car will make it through all these trips. also was not told of cost for weekend hotel and would probley do the third party testing. Cause you would need to know a driver with a truck. so thus is extra expenses that I did not know about. Once again thanks for the insight. Vicki

 

Oh ok. Just telling my daughter these are added expenses that they don't tell you about. Plus the monthly pay your bills ahead of time to go to school. My friend told me Warner is very good had her home regular.
